Strawberry-Mango Margaritas

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups partially frozen mango puree 

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • 4 tablespoons agave or honey (using more or less to your taste)

  • ½ or ¾ cup Tequila 

  • ⅓ cup lime juice 

  • ¼ cup pink sea salt 

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 pinch granulated sugar

  • Freshly sliced limes (optional)

Instructions: 

  1. To make the chili salt. Combine the salt, chili powder, and sugar on a shallow plate. Rim your glasses in salt, then set aside.

  2. In a high speed blender, add the mango purée, 2 tablespoons of agave or honey, ¼ cup Tequila and half the quantity of lime juice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour it into a pitcher and rinse the blender. 

  3. Repeat step 2 with frozen strawberries and the remaining agave or honey, Tequila and lime juice. 

  4. Strain into salt rimmed glasses and garnish as desired with lime and mango slices.
